Thurles Kickboxing Club offers a varied and progressive training programme for both fighters and non-fighters, along with regular beginner courses to help you start the most rewarding martial arts and fitness experience you will ever have.
Whether it’s fitness, weight loss, toning, self-defence or competition you’re after, we promise we can meet your needs and exceed your expectations. Our Kickboxing training offers a complete workout, through exciting and diverse training routines, which will help develop your aerobic and anaerobic fitness, flexibility and general health and wellbeing.
We have a fully equipped martial arts gym in Knox Hall Thurles, including a 16ft boxing ring, fully matted floor, punch bags, wall pad, speed ball, floor to ceiling speed ball, thai-pads, focus pads, kick shields, rowing machines, cross trainers, as well as kettle bells and weights.
At Thurles Kickboxing Club we pride ourselves in our approach to working with children. With two qualified Physical Education teachers as part of our team we have a unique understanding of sport education and youth development through sport. Our ‘Kid’s Programme’ is aimed specifically at children between the ages of 8-14 years.

We have been running annual full contact fight nights since 2005. All to date have been a major success and we hope all future events will be great too. The Keysi Fighting Method is a Spanish martial art created by Justo Diéguez Serrano and Andy Norman. It is primarily a fighting method aimed at modern day self-defence, with a great deal of emphasis placed on training with multiple attackers in a variety of real life settings. KFM incorporates striking, grappling, takedowns.
